Mixed Bill Counters
Mixed bill counters are machines that are capable of counting currency notes (bills) of varying denominations. This makes them radically different from traditional bill counters, which are capable of counting currency notes of one denominate at a time. People using standard bill counters tend to face situations where they’d have to sort out the bills, before putting them into the machine for counting. Mixed bill counters have simplified life by allowing the user to add just one stack of mixed bills to be counted. The machine is then able to figure out the value of the various bills, before counting the bills, doing the necessary multiplications and additions, and ultimately coming up with a grand total. Many of these machines are actually able to go beyond giving the grand totals: they also give subtotals for the various note denominations.
There are two types of mixed bill counters. A mono currency counter and a multi-currency counter. The mono currency counter is capable of counting only one currency in a mixed sort. For instance if you stack it with US dollar bills, fives, tens and a hundred dollar bill, it is capable of detecting their values, giving you a grand total and subtotal for the various denominations. If you fit this machine with, say, Euros or Japanese Yen, it is incapable of counting them, because it is designed to count the US dollar bills only.
Mixed bill counters capable of working with multiple currencies are sophisticated machines. In most cases though, one has to present the machine with one currency at a time. Thus, with one of the machines in this category, a person can count US dollar bills, Euro Bills, Japanese Yen bills and many other currencies. Most of the machines nonetheless tend to have limitations, in terms of the numbers of currencies they can count. Although we have mixed bill counters capable of counting many of the major currencies’ bills, very few show the capability of counting all nations’ currencies’ bills.
